Registration fees are based on the owner of the dam at time of foaling.  The age of the animal is based on the date the animal was foaled.

Registration Penalty Fee....$100.00 per year

This penalty fee is assessed to members and non-members alike for each year when the
animal reaches 36 months of age. This penalty is in addition to the current registration fee. See
special rules regarding gelding registration, transfer, and correction.

Imported Registration Fees

Members: Within 1 year from date of importation....................$40.00

Non-Members: Within one year from date of importation......$80.00

Imported registration fees are based on the individual importing the animal.

Imported Registration Penalty.$100.00 per year

This penalty fee is assessed to members and non-members alike for every year when the date of importation exceeds one year. This penalty fee is in addition to the current imported registration fee.

Imported Transfer Fee

Members: Within one year from the date of sale ....................$30.00

Corrected Transfer Fee

Corrected Owner...................................$20.00

Corrected Date of Sale.........$20.00 + penalty

The fee for a corrected selling date is based on the correct selling date and the current fee
schedule according to the original date the transfer was forwarded to the Corporation.

Rush Fee......................................$10.00 each

Anyone wanting paperwork processed within 7 working days from its receipt in the Corporation
office will be assessed a rush fee of $10.00 for each piece of work (i.e. each registration and
transfer is counted separately.)

Administration Fee..............................$10.00

Anyone submitting paperwork for processing who does not wish to have it completed will be assessed an administration fee.

Annual Membership

Individual, partnership, corporation or educational institution membership $100.00 with annual fee of $39.00 thereafter.

Youth Membership..............................$25.00

A youth member may become an individual member if the $75.00 balance of an individual membership is paid by December 31 of the year the youth reaches the age of 18. An annual fee will apply thereafter. The youth membership expires if the balance is not paid by December 31.

Corrected Membership...........................$50.00

A member may add one individual to their membership. If any animals are currently owned
in the original membership this will not alter their ownership and they will be in a non-member
entity after the membership change. A membership may be changed only one time and only to add one individual. No membership can be altered to remove an individual or individuals.
A corporation that changes its name may also correct their membership one time. Please refer
to Corporation By-Laws regarding membership change.

Research Fee

Convenience Fee for charges

An additional 5% of the amount to be charged will be added as a service fee.

Geldings
Special note regarding geldings registered or recorded from May 18, 2007 until January 1, 2009: Transfers and penalty registration or recording fees will be waived on geldings registered or recorded during this time period. However, transfers must be maintained following registration or recording of animals.

Gelding Transfer Fees (verifiable—sire and dam registered with the Belgian Draft Horse Corp.):
$30.00 each transfer for members and $45.00 each transfer for non-members regardless of the date of sale for geldings transferred from May 18, 2007 until January 1, 2009.

Recording of non-registered (NR) geldings:
The fee to record a gelding, where the parentage is non-verifiable or the sire and dam
are not registered with the Belgian Draft Horse Corp., is $30.00 to members and non-members
alike from May 18, 2007 until January 1, 2009. NR geldings must be transferred to reflect any
changes in ownership following the recording of an NR gelding. No NR geldings will be recorded after January 1, 2009.

Correction Fee for Geldings (until January 1, 2009): A corrected certificate of registry indicating the animal has been gelded will be issued at no charge provided the breeder of the animal is the current recorded owner. Animals not owned by the breeder or animals requiring any other type of correction will be assessed the normal correction fee.
