We are honored to receive the 2025 Premier Exhibitor award. Myself along with my wife and two sons traveled to 8 shows this year. We showed up to 5-10 head at most of the shows. We have to thank Gary Miller, Lonnie Miller and Liz Best for giving us an extra hand at the shows and our farrier Andrew Beachy.

We as a family each have our role in our accomplishments, the boys playing a big part. Each year they continue to grow in their showing. They both help not only at shows but at home as well. Being together and showing as a family makes it special.

As we set back and reflect on the 2025 show season we are truly blessed. Raising and showing the 2025 National Champion Stallion Millerview’s Kane and Champion Mare Millerview’s Jocelyn, Jocelyn also received Best of Bred. Some other great accomplishment this year was Jocelyn was also the Classic Series halter champion along with being Best of Show at MGLI. These are some proud moments for us a Belgian Breeder. We had many other champions throughout the year including winning the premier exhibitor award at The National Belgian Show.

As we take some time away from the show ring, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our 2026 foals. This foaling season will be extra special because it will be Kanes’ first crop of babies along with our first crop of Jolt foals. Hopefully we will get some fillies this year as two foaling seasons have gone with all stud colts. It is always an exciting time of year for us to see the foals being born and watch and wondering how they will turn out.

We are looking forward to the 2026 show season.

The Miller family,

2025 Premier Hitch Exhibitor by: Don Sherwood

Sherwood Groves Farm is extremely honored to receive the Premier Hitch Exhibitor again for 2025. We had a very busy year exhibiting our Belgians, Scott and Whitney Love did a terrific job training, driving and managing the whole operation. We had great help from Miley Houser and the whole crew that made our shows possible. I had fun driving cart, team and unicorn. Captain’s Buddy won the Eastern Region Classic Cart Finals and kept me in the game.

Many thanks to the Loves and all the talented horse people that help us and make our season. We are looking forward to 2026.
